FORMAL RECRUITMENT
The recruitment process at the University of Tampa is really something special. Being part of such a small Greek community allows potential new members to really get a feel for each sorority on campus and to make friendships, not only in their Rho Gamma recruitment groups, but to connect with women in every chapter on campus to find their home. Although the process of recruitment can be overwhelming and stressful, nothing beats the feeling of gaining over 100 new sisters. Hearing all the chants and the excitement of getting a bid is only the beginning. Becoming a part of a Greek Organization helps young women succeed in their academics, volunteer doing community service, and to better themselves as individuals as well as allowing them to be instrumental members of a group. This past year, The University of Tampa held recruitment virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these obstacles, in fall of 2020, we were proud to welcome 54 new sisters to our chapter. |
